Stussy Tower Records " 30th anniversary" T-Shirt



Stussy sat down with Tower Records in Japan to celebrate the retailer’s 30th anniversary. Bearing Stussy’s trademark script, the front of the t-shirt is emblazoned with a bold “no music, no life” slogan. On the reverse the words “face the music” are seen encircling Tower Records 30th Anniversary logo. Harsh words for those of us on the other side of the pond, considering Tower Records closedown stateside a few years back. Release date is set for August 11th at Stussy Japan .


Bread & Butter Berlin: Kangol x Patta Hat



Patta continues to impress with great collaborative projects, celebrating their 5th anniversary. After working with Stussy and Ontour, Patta now also got together with Kangol , of course on a hat. The hunting hat comes in all brown premium leather with ear flaps and features a tonal Patta logo embroidery on the front. The top of the hat features two metal buttons, both carrying the logos of the brands involved in the collaboration. Further great details follow on the lining, making this one of the best collaborations with Kangol that we have seen so far.

You can pick this pair up now at select Jordan Brand retailers including Extra Butter. The color blocking is similar to that of some of the original Air Jordan V’s only instead of Fire Red, this Girls version uses Red Plum. Now a Girls colorway has been released in White, Red Plum, and Black. The Air Jordan I, II, V, and VII.

Nike Dunk High Nylon Silver red blue



You can pick these up now at select Nike Sportswear retailers including Standard. The upper features the use of a soft nylon material in a off White/Silver, the Swoosh is Red, and the laces are Blue. The Nike Dunk High Nylon was originally released as a Quickstrike from Nike in the Fall of 2008 and now almost nearly a year later, the sneaker giant has released a similar colorway in th same Nylon treatment from the year before.


Gourmet x Undefeated sneaker



The shoes have no release date at the moment, but stay tuned for more information. The shoe’s entire upper uses a premium epi leather, the same leather that you may have seen before on various luxury goods such as Louis Vuitton accessories. Gourmet has collaborated with fellow Los Angeles based brand, UNDFTD, on a new pair of epi leather high top sneakers that feature an embossed UNDFTD Strike Logo on the upper.

Rap superstar 50 Cent has taken the inevitable step into the fashion industry by launching his own G-Unit Clothing Co.

The first line — available now for the fall season — consists of five T-shirts emblazoned with different G-Unit logos. The full collection is scheduled to launch in the spring of 2004.

50 Cent has followed the footsteps of his mentor Eminem who recently diversified into clothing with his Shady Inc. range. 50 Cent mania continues to spread, the Queens rapper is now set to team up with established designer Marc Ecko for his forthcoming G-Unit Clothing line.

The collection will first debut a limited men's clothing line around the holidays and then reveal a full men's line next spring. Though a children's wear and a woman's wear are in future plans, the collection won't be confined to fashion as G-Unit watches and leather goods will also be available over the next three years. The 50 Cent ideal will be carried through the collection as all items will have a $0.50 price point, for instance a pair of jeans might cost $49.50.

"It's not new for a rapper or pop artist to launch a clothing line, but what is new is that a design-driven company like us is partnering with an artist to offer the marketing and merchandising - it's sort of like Nike and (Michael) Jordan coming together for Air Jordan," Ecko told The Associated Press.




I'm not so much a fan of ECKO UNLTD, Averex, or G-Unit clothing brands, but the Marc Ecko's Cut & Sew team has been releasing some pretty nice products. With Zoo York also blowing up huge these past couple of years New Jersey native Marc Ecko is having no problem keeping up with the competition. What I respect most about the clothing line is its flexibility to reach out to a wide range of customers. Whether you are 18 or 35, business man or skateboarder, Marc Ecko has something that will catch your eye! Who would have thought that somebody who started out selling t-shirts in the mid 80's would turn out to be the President and CEO of a multi million dollar business!
